| Expanding the literature of the guitar through composition and transcription is a tradition of concert guitarists that I happily embrace and continue in my music making. The guitar requires intimate knowledge of its idiosyncrasies and tonal characteristics in order to create effective arrangements and that is why guitarists have relied on their own skills to provide their classical cannon. |
| Begun in 2006, George has been working regularly on arrangements of Schubert's art song accompaniments for Voice and Guitar. To date he has completed over 20 songs. These are available in a spiral-bound edition directly from him. Contact him for more information. |

| George has used his familiarity with concert instruments to occasionally arrange parts for various projects; most notably arranging string, brass and choral parts for the Romantic Progressive Alt. Folk band "The Spectacular Moons of Jupiter." |
| George has also created other arrangements and transcriptions including works by Bach, Pablo Sarasate, Reynaldo Hahn and Isaac Albeniz. He regularly includes them in his concert performances. |
